Kingdom of Acarius, Founding

Founding

In 7a 512, a large portion of pilgrims (see The Great Pilgrimage) elected one family that had proven themselves more than adequate in leadership to become the official rulers of their newfound territory. As such, the Kingdom of Acarius was formed.

In 7a 512, at 1300 on the 23rd of Luck's Birth, the leaders of the various pilgrim families approached one Danrek Acarius, the newlywed leader of a small family whom had aided each of them when in their time of need, and congratulated the young man on his new position - as the first ever king of this new land.
Over the next thirty-two years, Danrek led expeditions into hostile areas within his borders and established communities for his people. Before his demise, the people had officially recognized Acaron as their capital, and had established the small town of Orivos to the southwest. His son, Khaleel, would become the next king in the year 7a 535 - six years before his father's eventual demise.
