In the 352 year of the Final Age, dozens of established tribes banded together in an effort to discover more land for an ever-growing population.
The great king Danrek Acarius, first of his position, lived a wonderful life between 7a 485 & 7a 541.
In 7a 512, a large portion of pilgrims (see The Great Pilgrimage) elected one family that had proven themselves more than adequate in leadership to become the official rulers of their newfound territory. As such, the Kingdom of Acarius was formed.
The act of securing the western front was much more difficult than the reasoning behind it; the people of the Kingdom wished for a strong, secure border against any encroaching threats that may rear their heads from the mountains - and the King obliged. Thus, a fifteen year military campaign began, which saw the blood of many soldiers pooling with that of the Orc tribes who had taken up homes to the east of the Worldspire Mountains . Countless raids and battles dotted the campaign on both sides, until eventually the "Orcish Hordes" were successfully pressed back into the mountains, never revealing themselves again.
The Battle of Bay's End is the major conflict that resulted in the founding of the Dwarven city of Orivos.
Specifically, the battle saw the armies of the Kingdom of Acarius fighting back the Orcish hordes and routing them back into the Worldspire Mountains.
