Daak (dah-k)

Daak is a being of darkness, and existed in the Unending Void before Suul and Luun came into being.
Daak loved the Darkness. Darkness was perfect and all-encompassing. Suul and Luun's very existence shattered the darkness about them, destroying its perfection. Daak knew it must destroy both Suul, Luun, and all that they had created, and allow the Darkness to reclaim all.
Daak is responsible for the apparent death of the The Unborn God and its subsequent transformation into The Madness , as well as the corruption of the The Ascended and The Monarch into The Fallen and The Tyrant , respectively. Daak also created the meteor that nearly destroyed Anide.
Daak, if they appear, does so as a swirling mass of darkness.

Worshippers

Worship of Daak is usually done in secret, as worshipping evil deities is banned in many of the nations of Anide. Even where it is not banned, few worship Daak openly. Still, there are many who offer prayers and make sacrifices to Daak in secret.

Clergy

The Harbingers of the Void is a cult dedicated to worshipping Daak and releasing it from its prison so that it may continue the unmaking of the world. Void cultists imbue themselves and their possessions with Void Shards , remnants of the asteroid Daak used to try and destroy Anide.

Temples

Very few temples have been discovered, but the few that have all have a common design: a single, dark chamber with a sacrificial altar at its center. nearly all of the Temples to Daak were found underground, ensuring that no light reaches the temple. All sacrifices and ceremonies are performed in utter darkness. 

Dogma

Daaks commandments are as follows:

• Conquer all that you can.
• Corrupt that which cannot be conquered.
• Destroy that which cannot be corrupted.
