Col. Valis Mavasi
A female Kenjodan with gray-striped orange fur and a biotech left ear. She carried herself with a somewhat relaxed demeanor and had a strong aura of quiet confidence and charisma during her time as an officer. Mavasi commanded the 105th Marine Special Forces Battalion and personally oversaw the operations of Thrasher Squad 7 during the Fourth T'Kiri-Fevarian War and the Invasion of Kuatio.
Mavasi grew up on Kuatio and went to university on Fevaria Station straight out of high school, graduating a year early and entering training in the Fevarian Marine Corps to become an officer. Many of her peers during this time spoke of her natural magnetism and humor that led her to befriend just about everyone she met in the Marines.
A model officer and fiercly intelligent, Mavasi quickly rose the ranks and in 151 GE became the youngest-ever Kenjodan to achieve the rank of Colonel at age 34.
In 152 GE, Colonel Valis Mavasi commanded the 105th Marine Special Forces Battalion under the famous Grand General Zennab who at the time had just been promoted to General of the 21st Marine Corps Division. After the surprise attack on Kuatio and subsequent start of the Fourth T'Kiri-Fevarian War, she led the 105th Marines with courage and tenacity through the logistical and communication nightmares of the first few days of the invasion. On the night of 152.2.22, the T'Kiri conducted a combined air and space bombardment of Mavasi's operating base of Fort Bayci, and she was reported Missing-in-Action, presumed dead. To this day her remains were never found or recovered, and most people generally accept that she was killed in the bombardment, but conspiracies to her still being alive have spread in certain circles with varying degrees of validity.
A memorial service was held in Mavasi's honor on board the FMS Janda during the days after the Fall of Kuatio, and she is remembered with full honors, earning a Presidental Medal of Valor posthumously.
