Kayto of Enshihoro

The Kayto of Enshihoro is the supreme ruler of Enshihoro and her people. The Kayto and his family have made their throne from the Imperial Castle in Kandou, and as such the city is often regarded as holy. Passing from father to son, the Kayto is the most powerful individual in Enshihoro.

Requirements

The only requirment to become the Kayto of Enshihoro is to be a member of the Kandou bloodline, as passed from father to son.

Appointment

Following the death of the former Kayto, the regent will organize the official appointment of that Kayto's most eligible son. After the coronation ceremony, that previous prince will become the new Kayto.

Duties

A Kayto's responsibility is to the people to be their leader, to decide the laws of the land and guide the people to prosperity.

Benefits

The Kayto is easily the richest man in Enshihoro, in addition to being the most powerful politically.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

The only way to remove a Kayto from power is to either kill him and arrange for one of his son's to succeed him, or to take the position for yourself by way of war.

History

Before the line of Kandou the land of Enshihoro saw nothing but war. The various lords were constantly fighting in an effort to claim more land and more power. This changed however when Kayto Kandou stepped up and united the land, effectively ending the various wars and bringing forth an era of peace. As such the line of Kandou is deemed holy, to have almost divine providence.
