Systems Alliance

The Systems Alliance is the coalition of multiple species and worlds in an effort to enforce intergalactic stability through peace and cooperation.

Structure

At the very top of the Systems Alliance, making all the decisions is the Alliance Board, a group of the most gifted in charge of executive decisions and policy affecting the entire alliance. All of them are experts in various fields, most often pertaining to at least one of the major divisions of the tier of government just below, the Alliance Assembly.
These divisions are as follows:

• Security

• Environment

• Education

• Exploration

• Relations

• Health

• Science

The assembly decides the more day to day aspects of intergalactic law, as well as enact the decrees decided on by the board. The assembly can propose various laws and policies, but these can only be approved by a majority of the board.
Below the assembly, there are the various councillors who represent their various nations and worlds. These individuals present various issues for the assembly and board to solve to improve galactic life and stability.

Public Agenda

On the front the Systems Alliance goal is intergalactic cooporation, and at their base this is true. However, most know the true and key goal of the Systems Alliance is the maintenance of galactic society by way of military and diplomatic might, as well as to ensure monetary gain of those systems at the top, often to the detriment of those at the bottom. The Systems Alliance was made first and foremost as a battering ram to propel the agenda's of those peoples who had the privilege of being at the top, and to be the vanguard against the various other powerful factions within Antigone.

History

The Systems Alliance was created shortly after the Dreidas and the The Swahada made contact and the need for a galactic committee became clear. As various other nations joined galactic society, the need for a designated alliance between systems became clear and so the Systems Alliance was born.

Territories

Technically speaking, all System Alliance worlds and territories are under the jurisdiction of the official Systems Alliance and the Alliance Board. For most of history the majority of discovered worlds were immediately signed on as member worlds, and even following the founding of the Angel District, very few worlds exist outside of either the Angel District or the SA designation.
