The Swahada

The humans encountered by the Dreidas, they helped create intergalactic society and start the Systems Alliance. Their homeworld is Tesenine of the Balak System.

Biological Traits

The Swahadan homeworld is notable for being a dry desert world, and as such this reflects in its people. There are over twenty unique ethnic groups of the Swahada spread over Tesenine, but they all share a distinct common ancestor group as described in the Home World Theory.
Historical records show that when the Swahada first arrived on Tesenine they had dark skin already, but though the ages on Tesenine this aspect was only enhanced, with their skin being closer to the colour black than anything else. They also are extremely tall as a result of the low gravity on Tesenine, with extremely muscled legs that allow for easier climbing of the almost entirely mountainous landmasses on Tesenine.
Many biologists hypothesize that the Swahada and other groups of humans originated from the same area as defined by their coarse, tightly coiled hair which are shared across these groups but bare no affect on their daily life on the frontier. It is also notable that many Swahada have reduced eyesight as to their nocturnal habits, the surface of Tesenine usually too hot and blinding to handle much activity in the day time.

Major Language Groups and Dialects

Zaakaish is the predominant language on Tesenine, followed by Yahaya which saw a resurgence on the colonies. Other common languages of the Swahada as included on the Swahadan general translator programs include Inirash, Tabares, and Hasanitian.

History

The Swahada were the first group of humans to encounter other life when a Swahadan mining vessel came upon the Mimikri and its captain Freya'Yyu. From there, the Swahada were one of the founding members of the Systems Alliance and become the face of what many imagined a human to be.
After the discovery of the ///Cressida and the Home World Theory had started gaining traction, the Swahada took an extensive look at their own histories on Tesenine and Balak before coming to the conclusion to support the theory and accept it as the most probably reason for their relation to the other human groups throughout the galaxy.
It is estimated that the Swahada arrived on Tesenine around a -1000 GA and settled the region before expanding outward into the Balak and nearby systems. They are the human group with the largest population by way of them simply being in the galactic community the longest.
The Swahada are also notable for being frequent heads of the Systems Alliance Council.
