Elven Ethnicities

Though a minority of Aotra's people can claim elven lineage, Aotra's elven population still numbers in the millions. And it is a population nearly as culturally-diverse as the human population. Most elven ethnic groups can be sorted into one of three broad categories: high, wood, or dark elves. High elves—the widespread majority—are the most likely to exist intermingled with human cultures, while wood elven cultures are typically isolated and eccentric dwellers in the wilds, especially in the polar jungles, and dark elven cultures are most often nomadic groups clustered around the equator.
