The Ebissu People (eb-ISS-oo)

The Ebissu people are a large and widespread ethnic group of high elves, an old ethnicity descended from some of the first elves. Over time, the Ebissu ethnicity has split off into several other, smaller ethnic groups of elves; now, relatively few high elves identify themselves as being ethnically Ebissu, as most identify with those various smaller subgroups. Ethnic groups derived from the Ebissu people make up the majority of high elves in the Federation of Vay, Kassaan, Norsivar, and Oristhane.
