The Djernina Family
Best known for their role at the helm of the megacorporation Eclipse International, the family Djernina wield major political influence in the Federation of Vay. The family's patriarch, Cyrillus Djernina, lords over the corporation, while his sister Anastasia rules as a Vayan Consul and Head of the Department of Energy. Three of Cyrillus' children—daughters Demitica and Nadasha and son Vasilius—fill positions high up within EI, while his oldest son, Cyric, notably split from the family's business to become a Dichotomist pastor in the Oristhanian free city of Eschen, a community in which he wields great influence.
The Djernina family are ethnically Dimira, and they are known to possess the hereditary form of albinism common among Dimira folk.
