Atlantean
Atlanteans are descended from the union between an elder water elemental and a mortal, but this tale is lost to legend. They are calm, orderly people who rarely show emotion with extremely long lives. Naturally curious, they are often amused by the actions of short-lived outsiders. When pursuing a goal, they are relentless but prefer to take their time and look at a very broad perspective.

Naming Traditions
Atlanteans have long names, usually with a first, middle and surname, but sometimes more. If their first name is long and hard to pronounce, they usually have a short nickname. Their language is similar to Latin with an Elvish twist.
Average Technological Level
Atlanteans attained the Spacefaring Age, but fell after the Chaos Wars and are now a combination of stagnant, retrogressive and degenerate cultures. Some of the Elders are still alive that remember how to use the old technology, but most of the younger generation don't remember, care or despise it entirely.
Major Language Groups and Dialects
Atlantean and Aquan. Astralus, Centaur, Halfling, Common.
Common Dress Code
Atlanteans like wearing long flowing robes or dresses, with a tabard, sash or apron to signify their House. Many also wear a badge to signify the Guild that they are in.
Common Customs, Traditions and Rituals
Most Atlanteans only consider those of equal intelligence to be sentient, and most other races aren't even close to their level. Those they consider below them are treated as children, second class citizens or animals. The few that they consider equals are: Astralus, some Fey and a few merfolk. Even their descendants the Atlan are treated as children.
History
Atlanteans arrived on Aquatica 200 years before the Chaos Wars. After they settled on Atlantia, they started studying the native inhabitants, which they decided were better suited to do manual labor. A few of these races were chosen to be overseers and the others thralls.
They forcibly evolved all of these depending on what their jobs would be. Of course, the overseers were giving a greater intelligence, but also constrictions, like an implant that forced obedience and an addiction to GSD.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Atlanteans have few allies and less after the Chaos Wars. They still control a few of their creations, but most rebelled or were killed in the wars. Astralus are their main enemy and any of the allied army's that survived.
The Atlanteans are cousins to the Astralus, although they separated millennia ago. Physically they look similar, though Atlanteans prefer short-cropped hair instead of long flowing hair. They are both strong in psionics and Krystal based technology.
