Ranaku
AEF Ranaku
A pilot and scientist, member of the Illuminate, part of the AEF. While he's raised on the reclusive isolation mindset of the Illuminate people, it's no secret that he harbors a desire to be more outgoing, but keeps that on the down-low, especially when the drones assigned to his explorer vessel are online and recording. His vocation, though, allows him to sail the stars, and that much, he's at least content with, allowing him the breathing room necessary to catalog his findings.

While performing an otherwise routine exploration of the mid-Acellar sector, Ranaku found his vessel failing to respond, and would have his drones act in his stead, as internal temperatures continue to climb. Sealing off the rest of the ship, he activated a distress beacon, and earned, in short order, the assistance of Bureau agent, Focalor, who helped- albeit indirectly, as they called upon Cabek to do the heavy lifting- in getting the ship and its systems operational once more.
