The Slumbering Jungle

The Slumbering Jungle lays to the south of the Kingdom of Avalorn and is one of the most Deadly environments within Aquorra. Many who enter within the Jungles walls without a guide are never seen again, yet despite this fact still tribes of Tabaxi and Towns of Klueport Human thrive within the Jungles bounty through very different means.
The Tabaxi tribes survive main in part to the Jungle being their homeland, thus they've adapted to living here. Not only that but the Tabaxo worship both Silvanus, god of wild nature and Malara, god of the hunt, whom grant their boons to the tribes people in troubled times. The tribes of Tabaxi are self governed and depend from tribe to tribe, as each one has their own unique traditions. One tribe may be a tribe of great hunters while another might be nomadic gathers and fishers, there is great variation amongst the Tabaxi people.
The Klueport Human's are of course not native to the jungle, tracing their origins back mostly from settlers coming from the Tapai region looking to make a living on a untamed frontier. Though most come from the Tapai region, these settlers primarily worship Waukeen, god of trade and Mystra, god of magic, forming new traditions and roots away from their forefathers. This can also be seen in their alternative form of Government, being ruled by a Socialist Republic style of governing where the people hold the most power and the government is kept as small as possible. It is through this forward thinking governing style that the Klueport Human society has thrived, enabling their technological advances over other societies.
