Tala’aga
The Tala'aga is the Lore-Keeper of The Spice Islands and Kulubadu.
Tala'aga is a role and a title, that passes down the hereditary female line of one family. Upon the death of the previous Tala'aga, the heir receives all the known stories into their mind. This is a traumatic process, and known heirs usually receive years of training to prepare themselves.
The current Tala'aga is a young girl. Pre-deceased by her mother, she received the stories upon the death of her grandmother. Due to her age, she was not fully prepared for this, and the process incapacitated her for several days.

Collecting Stories
The Tala'aga's responsibility is to collect and share stories. Well known tales are remembered and freely shared, but what she truly values is personal stories. To collect a personal story, the Tala'aga requires an artefact that is personal, connected to both the story and the teller and is of notable value to them. As the story is told, the object takes on that tale and becomes its anchor for the Tala'aga.Thanes of Order
