Lagroni cared more for the consumption of Phoenix Feather Whiskey than the business of it, he was a handsome devil and he knew it.
While his father pressed upon him the importance of being a learned man and a businessman, he saw no reason for it. Why learn when you can fight, fuck or sing - a well used phrase of his.
Often seen as the dare-devil and "black spot" on the rather mercantile family of Megal, nonetheless he saw most of the world and had a wonderous time doing so. He took the well established trading routes his brother had forged with the people of the sands and began to explore their rich history of antiques - it was here he was able to built on the megal family name creating a trading network for rare and unique antiquities, weapons, artifacts and materials.
He like his brother had no interest in the "plane" women that were found around the marshlands instead finding a beautiful wife named Mei on one of his trading trips in to Yuzan.
It also helped that Mei's family were one of the greatest collectors of rare antiqueties and art and were keen to marry their only daughter into another noble house away from the seemingly continuous conflict in Yuzan at the time.
