Drogan grew up a peat farmer, a rather laborious and uninspiring job. He met an ale smith's daughter and together they pioneered the creation of Phoenix Feather Whiskey and later one of the greatest distilleries on Ararim Megal Distilleries.
As the success of the company grew as did the coffers of the Megal family becoming some of the greatest revenue producers for the King. Several years later the king saw fit to raise Megal to a noble house and give them the title of Lord of the marshlands.
