Crash Site Discovery

The party navigated the scorching sands of the Khorun Desert to the crash site of the airship. Upon arrival, they encountered a jackalwere named Scritch. Initially hesitant to be helpful, Scritch managed to give the party the slip, adding a layer of frustration to their investigation.

Claiming the Site

In a bold move, Solomon raised a banner over the crash site, declaring it as the property of the Radain Rhinos, marking their territory and establishing a claim over the wreckage.

Unveiling Secrets

Corrin and Mathernal: Corrin communicated with her spider companion, learning that its name, Mathernal, means "servant" in Aragitian. This revelation hinted at a deeper connection and purpose for the spider.

Kolme’s Discovery: Kolme stumbled upon a secret stash belonging to an old shipmate named Jerome. Inside, he found personal effects, including a handkerchief from Jerome's wife, Katherine. Jerome's journal detailed his life in Thistleholt, his struggles with taxes, and his dreams of a farm in Sweetwater.

Tracking Scritch

Following Scritch's trail, the party encountered an odd sight: a pile of refuse in the middle of the desert, expelled from an old pipe. Underneath the refuse, an ominous creature writhed. The party cleverly avoided it by using their excess water supply.

Arrival at Kapas Kabana

The party followed the pipe to the back of Kapas Kabana, a rough outpost in the desert, they met with the owner Kapambola and there, they spotted Scritch and his crew, and encountered Hideraux, who was tending to an injured crew member upstairs. During a tense conversation, Lachlan Keyes revealed himself as Thibaut Megal and expressed his displeasure with Hideraux’s failures.

The Dynamo Quest

Realizing Hideraux was physically okay, the party shifted focus to retrieving the coveted Dynamo. However, they weren’t the only ones interested. A woman with long hair and a member of the Sandstone Collective were also eager to claim the technology.

A Deal and a Showdown

Mina's father was contacted to transfer additional material realm currency, allowing the party to strike a deal with Rasha, the leader of the jackalweres. As they prepared to move with Scritch to the jackalwere lair, they spotted the woman with long hair and her Sandstone Collective companion, now armed and ready for confrontation, cresting over the dunes.

What Lies Ahead

The party now faces a potentially dangerous confrontation as multiple factions vie for the powerful Dynamo. With tensions high and alliances fragile, the next steps will require both strategic thinking and courage.
