Filtwick "Whiskers" Black

There are people in Arbor who make a career out of being on the wrong side of the law and Whiskers as she's known is one such individual. Not exactly known for being the brightest, fastest or strongest criminal in Arbor what you can say is that everyone has a story or two involving the woman who has a knack for either being in the wrong place or the right place depending on your perspective and hers. Whiskers also knows almost everyone, or at least claims to, that is worth knowing in Arbor. The truth though is that almost everyone in Arbor has a debt to collect involving the would be thief and robber and she'll probably spend her whole life repaying all the debt she's racked up. However if you need a relatively safe introducation to some of the more dangerous elements of Arbor Whiskers isn't a bad person to know.

Appearance

A Beastkin of the Furred variety, Whiskers takes after the feline species on Arbor sporting a set of cat ears and tail along with some long pale whiskers that she has derived her knickname from. She usually dresses in quite ragged though utilitarian clothing, things that wouldn't draw attention to her or single her out in anyway which helps her in her chosen profession. She also has a stolen pair of The Gatherers goggles permanetly affixed to her head allowing her to see the Aethric flow and spot potential high value marks and trouble that might come in the form of dangerously armed individuals.

Personality

Whiskers likes to be seen as a connected individual constantly providing knowledge in every area of Arbor and in every discipline. It should be noted much of what she knows comes second or even third hand so should be taken with a grain of salt. None of it though is done with any malice or ill intent and often it leads to some truly great stories around the pub, but it doesn't always feel like that when you're being shot at by green cloaks after a bad bit of information. The odd thing is Whiskers would never leave a friend in need so it's likely you'll find her right next to you facing the same firing squad and then somehow getting right back out of it. Thus those in Arbor who know also call her a good luck charm of sorts, she might land you in the shit but you'll always come back out of it.

Background

Whiskers tells he past like most people tell tall tales and the version changes every time. So there isn't much point to putting anything here as it will probably change by next week. What people have gleaned though at least from some of the tales and skills she actually has is Whiskers has been on the streets of Arbor for most of her life and picked up the trade quite young. Her parents remain a mystery or even which if any clan of the Beastkin she's from.

Relationships

Whiskers would say everyone who isn't a green cloak or a stick in the mud is her friend, and for as much of the truth streatches when it comes out her mouth this is mostly true. However when it comes to a person she wants to spend more private time with there have been a few who caught her eye over the years but none who have ever been able to keep up with her constant adventerous spirit.

Allegiance

Nothing official but many suspect if she was ever in any real danger many of the companies of Arbor would make several unsubtle moves to make sure she was returned safe and sound and it's possible the Green Cloaks are aware of this so may have something to do with why she keeps getting out of the trouble she finds her self in.
