Isul Sterling

Much of this boy now young man's life has been lived in under a microscope, the son of Ava Isolde Sterling and Clara Maxie Sterling he has never known a normal life. The first official recepient of a Clockwork Heart his is the blueprint for which all others are based. Despite this eye upon him Isul has lived a life of relative obscurity his parents doing their best to keep him from being experimented or studied like a freak as much as they can. For his own accomplishments though Isul is a brilliant mind and one of the greatest inventors of The Gilded. As many have said he has the same briliiant mind as his mother along with the compassion and empathy of his other mother.

Appearance

Eschewing the more extreme body modifications of his parents Isul is instead far more reserved and the only modifications he currently has is his heart, though this one has been replaced a few times as he's grown over the years. Aside from that he has the blonde hair of his mother along with the dark eyes of his other mother. He shares some of the features of the Goldfoot clan though as he's got a slight point to his ears giving him the appearance of a fae touched though as far as he can tell he lacks any of the other traits. Still he is a handsome man and despite his mothers still calling him young he is nearing 60 now so is more distinguised gentlemen than boy these days.

Personality

Isul is much like his mothers in a lot of ways, briliant and driven to always try and seek out wonder but in the same breath a deep compassion for the broken things in the world. He is constantly trying to find ways to make the inventions the Gilded create simpler and cheaper for those that need it most. I suppose when you grow up in a house filled with as much love as he did it is only natural to want to share it and fix the broken things like you once were. A truly kind sould like Isul would not have lasted long in the world without a lot of protection and luckily for him his mothers are some of the scariest Lionesses in all the city.

Background

Much of Isuls background is a matter of public record. He was born to Ava and Clara Maxwell with a heart far too weak to support his small life. At the time no magic great or small could fix this and so his mothers turned to their considerable engineering skills to fix it and eventually succeded. His heart was replaced with an artifical one a Clockwork Heart to beat forever more. From there his parents established the Gilded and his life was surrounded by machines and tinkering.
In his current life he is mostly a researcher puring his time into developing cheaper and more affordable options for the masses. Prosthetics of all kinds that he hopes will enable people to get their lives back after either tragedy or the misfortune of birth.

Relationships

Any relationships he might have are kept secret the heir to the Gilded fortune needs to be careful after all

Allegiance

Aside from his mothers and the Gilded itself Isul does his best to keep his allegiances close, nothing official of course but that doesn't mean he doesn't have a few contacts within organizations across the city. One of the most heavily rumored ones is that he is in regular talks with The Dockers as their views on labour closely align with his own.
