NA-mk15 Dropship

Nathan Armories has made just about every piece of military hardware one can imagine. Every weapon they make is designed to work in perfect destructive harmony with each other. This Dropship is designed to carry the titans to, and from an AO at absurd speeds. Using extremely powerful magnets to carry the titans, and titanmasters in, and out without landing, or slowing down. The ship drops the titans at Mach 2 several miles from the AO. The titans use their jump jets to slow down enough to run to a stop at the AO. It has served its purpose well, like all things that roll off the Nathan Armories assembly line.

Power Generation

Three miniature nuclear generators similar to that which the titans use gives this aircraft the power needed to move at the speeds required to get from one safe zone, to the other in less than an hour.

Propulsion

nuclear powered combustion engines push this craft at the speeds needed for fast pickups, and drop-offs.

Weapons & Armament

The weapons on this machine are light, it relies on speed to avoid the mechanon. If a mechanon stinger does end up on its tail, it is armed with an EMP missile launcher, and two heavy automatic cannons.

Armor and defense

The armor is relatively light. Once again relying on its speed to get it out of trouble. only six inches of titanium plating between the crew, and the mechanon focused energy blasts.

Communication Tools & Systems

A standard radio communications system is used in this machine.

Sensors

This aircraft uses a laser sensory system. sonar is useless when traveling faster than sound, one thing faster than sound is light. Using thousands of laser lights, it maps the surroundings fast enough to get a lay of the land at Mach 5. Basically, a pre-golden age lidar system.

Additional & auxiliary systems

It uses the first inertial dampener to prevent the crew being pulled from their posts, to the tail end of the ship when accelerating.

Hangars & docked vessels

Due to its enormous size compared to every other aircraft, it is stored on a flight pad outside each archangel base. There, it doesn't have to wait for big hanger doors to open in a mechanon attack, it can just lift off the ground, and rapidly accelerate to Mach 5.6.
