Children of Nature

The Children of Nature are self-proclaimed defenders of the natural ecosystem of Archestria. They identify themselves by wearing tree cookie amulets depicting a tree inside a shield. Their vicious attitudes, strict demands, and barbaric methods cause others to see them as a cult-like hate group. The Children consider the mining and crafting of metal to be a harmful insult to Archestria, and they compare animal domestication to imprisonment and slavery. It is not unusual for a squad of Children of Nature to harass or harm travelers with horse-drawn wagons, metallic merchandise, or wool-based clothing.
While most prominent in The Spiritwood, they have been encountered recently in Birchland and Solaki.
During 2023-11-28 Lost on the Path, a group of adventurers discovered a group of Children of Nature who migrated to Solaki. The Children were capturing innocent merchants and putting them on trial for their "crimes" against nature. The adventurers captured and turned in the leader of the squad, Teren.
