Makilara Castle Ruins

Southeast of the Suntouch Spires stands the castle that used to be Solaki's capital when it was ruled by the Makilara Dynasty. Its war-torn ruins still stand in present day, and while explorers and looters have dug through it, it is believed that undiscovered coffers still hold mounds of treasure waiting to be claimed. Rumors similarly persist of curses, however: the Makilarans were known as dragon slayers, and tales say that the angry spirit of the slain golden dragon now haunts the castle, searching for any chance to burn away what remains of the dynasty's legacy.
