Obbleville

Amidst the many dark and strange wonders of the Haunted Realm, there exists a village that seems to relocate and change from time to time. It has been recorded in completely different positions across the Realm, and seems to moving faster while not being observed, confounding cartographers for years. Scholars refer to it as Somewhere Village.
During 2023-05-20 The Wandering Village, a group of adventurers managed to reach Somewhere Village by stationing observers atop Howlpeak and chasing the village on horseback. They arrived to a cheery, peaceful village named Obbleville. While exploring the strange town, the adventurers met unfamiliar humanoids that resembled previously seen Ancient Ones, visited buildings that kept changing their names and locations, and witnessed nonsensical coincidences between their conversations and the town's contents. The party discovered that Obbleville is an enormous oblex that commands a mimic hivemind. It wanders around the Haunted Realm eating zombies and ghosts alike in order to grow its disorganized collection of ancient memories. Obbleville wants to leave the Realm to explore more of the world, but knows that it will lose its precious ancient memories if it does, since the ghosts it consumed cannot leave the Realm. The party promised to give it the Orb of Preservation if they succeeded in finding it, so Obbleville gave them its Howlpeak key to help.
During 2023-10-14 Rest in Peace, Obbleville lost its collection of ancient memories due to the removal of the Orb of Preservation. It attacked the party in a rage, and Tarhun was forced to kill it.
