Rhyolus

Rhyolus is a gargantuan magma elemental residing in the west area of the Magma Tunnels in a huge pool of lava. Like other fire elementals in the area, it exists due to the abundance of natural volcanic activity rather than any spiritual corruption. Rhyolus oversees what it calls the "Earth's Engine", the core of volcanic Mount Stonekettle of the Smokewhistle Mountains. It boils and distributes lava throughout cracks in Archestria's earth, preventing and sealing problematic fissures that would otherwise form over time from quakes and erosion.

During 2023-11- 25 Magma's Blessing, a group of adventurers visited Ryolus and gave it an offering of a yellow primal crystal in exchange for a blessing for Salmund's spirit forge.
