Magma Tunnels

The Magma Tunnels connect northwestern and southern Subterranea. A well-worn road through the tunnels connects the Fariel Columns to Igniklar, and a branch detours toward Lake Kalligan. The caverns of the Magma Tunnels are swelteringly hot from pools and rivers of churning magma, and are located below Mount Stonekettle, the dormant volcano of the Smokewhistle Mountains.
The tunnels are home to many fire-immune creatures and elementals, such as firenewts.
