The Archestriforge

The Archestriforge is the first and most powerful spirit forge in all of Archestria. It is situated in the royal courtyard of Basaltthrone, and is operated by eight royal forgemasters. In addition to regularly producing high quality magical equipment (often +2 weapons, shields, and armor), the forgemasters collaborate on special, powerful items of legendary quality. About once a month, they complete such an item and stock it in Stonekettle's Pride, a special magic item shop nearby.
The forge is a circular firepit constructed of smooth, evenly-crafted bricks of different igneous rocks. Layers of steel bars support the well-maintained coalpit, and beneath is a circular shaft leading below the city to a pool of magma. Fire elementals dance happily about within the sweltering flames of the forge.
