Ashklan Peninsula

The Ashklan peninsula is a very large landmass surrounded by the Gulf of Snakes, Dyrelic Sea, and Brimstone Bay. Most of it is inhabited by the Tribes of Ashklana, made up of dragonborn, lizardfolk, tortles, and kobolds in a loose confederation. A small portion of it to the West is owned by the Kingdom of Sarton. Between the two is the Sartonian-Ashklan demilitarized zone, which is claimed by both nations but not contested much to avoid conflict. Thus, it has become a sort of no-mans-land, as those who inhabit it don't have to follow the laws of either one.

Geography

The Ashklan Peninsula is surrounded by warm waters, leading to high humidity with warm to mild temperatures all year round. It is characterized by terrain ranging from dense swamps to the South, flat plains to the North and East, and temperate deciduous forest in the West.
