Two Suns Shrine

The Companions of the Wheel are honoured in the Two Suns Shrine. After saving the day the people of the town built a shrine in their honour. A statue of the party and a delicate globe around two exploding spheres is the central focus of this small room.

Purpose / Function

This monument was built to the brave adventurers who helped to save the world.

Alterations

One day a soldier who had been terribly injured came to warn the town of an incoming battle, fell down at the shrine. As people came running they saw the soldiers wounds close up as though the shrine had healed her. They fought off the invaders and afterwards, in honour of the soldier and the shrine, they built a place of healing and rest around the shrine. People trained in the healing arts trained others and cared for the sick and injured here until the Great Sandstorm.

Architecture

Experts were baffled as to how this was created as it is made of stone but seems to be impossibly carved. Over time they discovered that some powerful magic beings were able to shape stone and they believe that perhaps this was how this was created. By someone with a greatly fine tuned ability to shape stone.

History

There was once two suns in the sky but a great evil arose and was trying to capture the power of the suns. Whatever they did, the suns were sent off course and slowly began to absorb into each other in a terribly unstable way. It was on the verge of exploding and the adventurers sacrificed themselves by containing the sun

Tourism

After the soldier was healed people traveled here looking for miraculous cures. They would bring the ill and hope the healers could work some magic.
