The first flight of the airship, that was supposed to be the first successful flight, ended in disaster. All passengers on board died due to an unforeseen failure. This crash almost caused the entire airship project to come to a halt, as the inventor Bryn Buell suffered the most from it. The day is now a memorial day for those that lost their lives in the brave attempt to bring flight to the people of Arcturus. Their brave sacrifice is what eventually led to air travel becoming possible for everyone.
