Kingsgrave
The name Kingsgrave is derived from a historical event in recent years when a king of the Elves tried to march south into Numidia with an army. The garrison of Kingsgrave took to the mountains and harried the elves all the way through the Red Mountains. The legend follows that the noble commanding the garrison killed the Elven king before he even got fully into Numidia. Exhausted, leaderless, and harried the entire way, the invading army turned back, having taken no land.
These days the keep of Kingsgrave is much more dilapidated, with the elven threat to the north mostly having given up dreams of conquering their desert dwelling neighbors to the south. A small garrison holds here, mostly comprised of rangers and scouts, ready once more to venture into the mountains to slow down the advance of any incoming invading force.
