Castellan
The Castellan is in charge of defense of the castle proper against all forms of attack: traditional or magical.
Qualifications
Must possess and excellent understanding of physics and engineering, alchemy, magical wards, spells, military tactics, siege weaponry and counter siege operations.
Requirements
Must have served in the Ameriel Military for no less then 15 years.
Appointment
The Castellan is appointed to position by the Two Kings at the recommendation of the Lord Commander.
Duties
Defense and protection of the castle, the people within and the Royal Court.
Responsibilities
Coordinate with the Master Builder, High Mage and Lord Commander for the construction and maintenance of defenses of the castle, the recruitment and training of the Castellan Guard and warding of the castle.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
By decree of the Two Kings, Hand of the Two Kings, Lord Commander, Voice of Commons if found guilty of crimes against the realm.
