The Hare Clan
The Hare Clan was founded in recognition of a ronin who distinguished himself in battle against a terrible blood sorcerer over a century ago. Since then, the Usagi family has devoted itself to finding and battling mahō tsukai (bloodspeakers) wherever they may be found.
They have recently been providing shelter to the smallfolk of Kiga after their displacement by the Blue Dragon Clan.
Palaces and Cities Yuma Mon The mon depicts a hare and the clan colours are red and white. Families Ujina family The Ujina are skilled, stealthy warriors, using a variety of techniques in order to "bring evil to justice". Founded by a ronin who was granted this family name by the Imperial Regent after helping Lord Usagi to stop a bloodspeaker cult. Usagi family The Usagi family, and Hare Clan, were founded in 370 by the ronin Reichin as a reward for his services against a powerful blood sorcerer. Since the founding of the Hare Clan the daimyo of the Usagi has also been the Hare Clan Champion.
