Arcanittan

Arcanittan or Rachniťtíí is the language of the merchant city of Arcanittas. It is the second most spoken language in the Havlic language family.
Unlike most Havlic speakers who pride themselves in the study of the archaic Old Havlic tongue and see their own tongues as wholly inferior, the speakers of Arcanittan are proud of their own culture and language. They do not see the point in keeping with the old ways, much to the dismay of the Tsilaians. The language has always had a rich literary history of its own making it unique in the Empire.

Phonology

Arcanittan is arguably the least phonologically conservative Havlic language likely due to extensive contact with various foreign travellers and traders.

The Old Havlic pitch accent has been lost, reduced to a simple stress accent.
