Tarqis ibn Nazir

Imam Tarqis ibn Nazir is a revered figure in the city of Sharqawi. He possesses the grace and agility characteristic of his kind, coupled with a warm and inviting demeanor that endears him to all. His fur is pale gray, with intricate black markings. He wears the traditional garb of an imam, with a long, flowing robin-egg blue robe adorned with geometric patterns and a blue-and-gold patterned turban that declares his unimpeachably holy status. His eyes, a piercing green, reflect a life dedicated to the spiritual guidance of his community. Tarqis is known for his wisdom and his melodious voice that rises in prayer from the minarets of the Great Mosque, calling the faithful to reflection and peace.   Despite his responsibilities, he is never too busy for those in need. He walks the streets of Sharqawi, offering aid and comfort to the poor, and his kindness has become as much a part of the city as the ancient stones of the mosque he serves. In his presence, people feel a sense of hope and compassion that transcends the struggles of daily life.   The Great Mosque of Sharqawi, under his care, is not just a place of worship but a sanctuary for the soul, where the teachings of Arrahi resonate through the arches and domes, inspiring all who enter to live a life of generosity and faith.   Imam Tarqis is quick to smile easy to converse with. He is fond of concise, meaningful turns of phrase, often employing them to dispel arguments. Two of his favorites are:
  1. “In the garden of the heart, plant only the seeds of love and kindness.”
  2. “Patience is the companion of wisdom."
