Aspect of Dragons
One of
Liphan's first aspects, Draekor'natia is the prime example of what dragons are when separated from other mortal traits. They are incredibly powerful, vain, and intelligence creatures, who are both aware of their eternal nature and the temporary nature of everything else. Where many aspects don't have their own followings, Draekor'natia has more of a following amongst dragons than any other god or aspect.
There is a territory within the
Eminent ruled by his followers, named after his likeness. There, his most faithful, blessed with his magic, and chosen by his own judgements. Much like other gods have clerics, Draekor'natia is strong enough to crown his own chosen, and many of the most powerful dragons in the Eminent are among those lucky few.
Clerics of Dreakor'natia, though their magic is sourced by Liphan, have access to the Dragon, Scorn, and Sky domains when choosing their path.
Where many gods have symbols, Draekor'natia's symbol is his cursed seal in which he wildly flicks his tail in a precise and intricate pattern, and in doing so unleashes a blaze of incineration that turns all, even planets in its path, to dust. His followers have taken to using this symbol to represent the dragons unlimited power.
Physical Description
Where the largest known dragon Vandria is the size of a city, it's been said by those who've claimed to have met him that Draekor'natia is nearly the size of Argent. He roams the Excess in idle boredom as he waits for when he's needed by Liphan next.
Where Draekor'natia is very powerful in every right, it's his breath weapon that truly horrifies. It's said that when he uses his innate breath weapon, instead of breathing an element, he launches forth thousands of colored crystals, which all over the course of a few moments morph into that of hundreds of adult chromatic dragons. According to myth, where the metallic dragons were put on Sear by Liphan, it was Draekor'natia who breathed the dragons of Sedden into existence.
History
Draekor'natia represents everything Ireri hates about dragonkind. While Ireri has never had a reason to directly come to blows with Draekor'natia, she has made her distaste clear whenever the chance is given. Draekor'natia largely dismisses Ireri out of hand, and claims that her hatred is pathetically mortal in nature and in no way a meaningful threat to Draekor'natia.
Relationship Reasoning
Ireri is unwilling, either on principle or out of wariness, to attack Draekor'natia. However, she has often hindered those who support him by sealing away the knowledge of certain spells from his followers or bolstering the spells of his followers' enemies. On two separate occasions, Ireri has provided minor blessings to mortal dragons who wish to usurp Draekor'natia's place. Both times, the dragons died in their pursuit. Ireri never lets her disdain distract her from her heavenly duties, and thus has only used a marginal amount of her power for these acts.
