Historically, the child goddess Akari spent the large majority of their time among the mortal. She would frolic among their beautiful gardens and marvel at their feats of construction. She adored the people she'd met, but she knew she couldn't bring them with her when she left. She wanted a friend. A day came where Akari arrived in Liphan's kingdom of Goldenlight to ask her father a favor. She wanted a companion. A friend that was a being like her. Someone who she could wouldn't lose to time or war or hunger, and someone who could protect her friends from said threats.
Cue Oniron, a being of goodness and love. Oniron is a soft, gentle, and loving soul with a heart that only wishes to give. He's protective, generous, and light hearted. As a deity, he's notably harder to offend than other gods. He could really care less what people say or do to him, unless it's to his faithful. Oniron would not harm another, lie, cheat, or steal, but his magic usually means others can similarly not do the same to him or his chosen. The unwavering confidence and divine insight that Oniron carries with his every step is unmatched in most ways.
Oniron usually takes a simple approach to his interactions with mortals, and the form he takes. He's honest. He doesn't about who he is or hide his form. Though, he does tend to take a smaller more human sized version when speaking to them or entering their towns and cities. Oniron and Akari have spent a lot of time traversing the Argent together, inspiring the hopeful and faithful to do the same. Organizations dedicated to replicating the charity and love the two brought with them everywhere they went have always been present, though with some adversity from the less than savory.

Holy Books & Codes

Oniron truly adores to write. He's written books on medicine, politics, and ethics which he has spread among his people. His churches are surprisingly accepting and educated for religious groups of his size, because of his stance on truth. It should be accepted. If we are wrong, so be it. If our policies or traditions are outdated, let's fix that. Denial for the sake of antiquated traditionalism is something he's inherently against as a being of truth, and so churches closer to his divinity keep that method close. Though, not all can speak to the gods, and clericless faithful may find it harder to know what is and isn't the truth, causing conflict and confusion.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

The symbol often most used to identify Oniron is rather gaudy. Used by the Order of the White Feather and made vastly popular across Sear, is a bouquet of white feathers held in place by a cone of bandages. This can be simplified to a single wrap of bandage around the base of a single feather. Seddenese faithful use similar iconography, though less bandages. The Seddenese peoples knack for innovation meant that Oniron had little need to teach them medicine, unlike the Searan people.

Physical Description

Body Features

Like Akari, Liphan, and Deshai, Oniron is blessed with feathery wings on his back that carry him through the air. Despite that though, he's actually rather frail for his size. He's thin, but not so much that it's unhealthy looking. In his mortal sized form, he's realistically outmatched by the average farmer when it comes to tests of physical strength, though he does his best not to let it come down to that.

Apparel & Accessories

Oniron has always worn simple clothes. Whites with golden embroidery and that more celestial style of look. Though, in recent years, he's been seen wearing more ostentatious or expensive looking pieces. When clerics of Oniron draw their depictions, the apparel designs look uncannily modern. The well trained or particularly fanatic may find that these clothes are uncannily similar to designs created by Divicia.

Accomplishments & Achievements

• Akari and Oniron have together ended famines and wars all on their own. These events aren't always public or flashy, though. Sometimes sudden peace or health washes over an area and nobody even knows it was them, but that's not their goal.

History

Oniron was originally created with the purpose of accompanying Akari in her ventures. Though in time that relationship changed as they gained new roles or duties in the world, they both still are incredibly close. They spend as much time as they can share together. Akari holds a number of mannerisms that Oniron historically had before she was ever recorded as using them, and Oniron's mentality about basically everything is clearly affected by her aura of positivity, despite honesty being a part of his portfolio.
