Elves

Elves as a species are hard to pin down. They generally prefer moving around, and most of their cultures are nomadic. They are drawn to adventure but prefer to solve things in non-violent ways. They originated from the Life Spirits that worshipped Thrae, the Founder of Air.

Your Dexterity score increases by 2 and your Wisdom score increases by 1.

Age

Although elves reach physical maturity at about the same age as humans, the elven understanding of adulthood goes beyond physical growth to encompass worldly experience. An elf typically claims adulthood and an adult name around the age of 30 and can live to be 180 years old.

Size

Elves range from under 150 to over 180 centimeters tall and have slender builds. Your size is Medium.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 6 meters.

Dimvision

Accustomed to traveling during the twilit hours of the day, you have good vision in dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 12 meters of you as if it were bright light.

Keen Senses

You have proficiency in the Perception skill.

Unrestrained Mind

You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can’t put you to sleep.

Traveling Spirit

Elves are born to travel. As an Elf you only require 4 hours of sleep a day, instead of the average 8 hours. You also do not suffer any penalties you would normally suffer when traveling at a fast pace, and can travel for up to 10 hours before starting a forced march.

Cantrip

You know one cantrip of your choice from the wizard spell list. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for it.

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common and Elvish. Elvish is fluid, with subtle intonations and intricate grammar. Elven literature is rich and varied, and their songs and poems are famous among other races. Many bards learn their language so they can add Elvish ballads to their repertoires.
