The Founding of the city Selenta: Divine Providence

The city of Selenta: Divide Providence, located on the coast of the southern region of the world, was founded long ago by a group of devout followers of the god of justice and order, Tyr. They believed that their god had granted them a divine mission to establish a utopian society where righteousness and equality reigned supreme. The founders of Selenta were mostly humans, united in their shared faith in Tyr where they felt other cities had abandoned the gods. There were also some dwarves, elves, and even some halflings and gnomes among them. They believed that by working together and following the tenets of their faith, they could create a city that would serve as a beacon of hope and enlightenment for all. The founding of Selenta was not without challenges, however. The land on which they chose to build their city was very fertile, but did not have much in terms of natural ressources and were far away from the major trading hubs. But the people were undeterred, and they worked tirelessly to transform the landscape into a humble, pious and prosperous city. The buildings of Selenta were built with marble and adorned with intricate carvings and statuary, painstakingly imported from the mountains of Roht. The city was divided into distinct districts, each with its own unique character and purpose. As the city grew and flourished, it became known as a center of religion. Its citizens do not need, nor want for anything as everything is provided by the city. Scholars and philosophers from all over the world came to Selenta to study in its libraries and universities of the only theocracy still of this world.
