Founding of the city of Rakan Fo: The Silversands

The Silversands was founded in the largest desert of the world, thirteen years after Firan Ko and fifteen years after Salmyr. The founders were a tribe of nomadic tieflings, rejected by most species for their connection to demons and always on the move. They are a fierce and hardy people, accustomed to living off the intense heat of the desert.   The tieflings of Rakan Fo were searching for a new home, a place where they could thrive and grow. After months of wandering, they came upon a vast stretch of land with a mountain range in the distance. The tieflings followed the range until they found a source of fresh spring water coming down from the mountains. It was a blessing in the middle of the scorching desert.   The tieflings realized that they could build a great city here, one that would not only provide them with the resources they needed to survive, but also a safe haven for all those who dared to cross the desert. They used their know-how to construct a great aqueduct that would bring the water from the mountains straight into the core of their city.   The city had barely began being constructed that rangers from Firan Ko spotted the tieflings organizing together. It was not long until both ex-nomads got along and began building the city together. It was named for the glittering sand dunes that surrounded the city, which shone like silver in the bright desert sun. Little did they know at the time, but it was not just shining like silver. But in fact was silver dust. The tieflings took pride in their new home, and over the years, they built it up to be a grand metropolis in the middle of the desert.   The tieflings of Rakan Fo were not interested in trade or commerce like their counterparts in Cold's Grasp and Firan Ko. They were a proud and independent people, focused on preserving their way of life and protecting their city. They raised herds of camels and maintained a very traditional and simple way of living.   After much time spent together and the city finally completed inhabitants of both cities found that their ancestry traced back to the same original tribe of people, separated a long, long time ago. As such, the two cities united and thus the name of the new city became Rakan Fo, named after their common ancestors.
