Iris of Eternity

The Iris of Eternity is the massive object presumed to be located in the center of the Cosmic Archives, used by the Ancient Dulcis to record and monitor the stories of Creation, both past, present, and possible future. Talked of by many scholars, and believed by many to only an object of legend, the Iris is thought by many to be on the same level of power and influence as The Realm Tree in terms of being an entity itself. There are some that believe that the Iris is a remnant of the Creator himself, theorizing that perhaps it is a solidfied tear from the all powerful figure. Many, however, seek to squash these theories.
Being an object of immense knowledge and power, many followers of Dulcis advocate that, even if they were granted entry into the fabled Athenaeum where the Iris resides, that they would not attempt to use the Iris. For them, any being using it other than the Ancient of Knowledge may have disastrous consequences. Perhaps, those consequences have already come to pass.
