Cosmic Archives

The Cosmic Archives are a astronomically large collection of tomes, books and recordings that have been steadily built upon since recorded history. Aa dimly lit, Escher-esque infinite library containing records of all that is known and unknown, the Archives are impossible to navigate by mortals, and many would die of starvation if they were ever permitted entry. It is tended to and read by servants of Dulcis, cute but intelligent creatures known as Archivists.
Stories and memories of every life, from birth to death, exist as books written in various languages. These books exists for not only mortals, but seemingly all living things in Creation. The bookshelves, which move on their own to rearrange themselves, are made of different materials: various woods, metals, and enchanted crystal.
As depicted in Imperia's stain glass works, a section of the archives have burned away, leaving only a tragic emptiness where the stories of those now lost once lied.
Dulcis himself often frequents all parts of the Archives, though resides in a large chamber known as the Athenaeum to rest. It is also within the Athenaeum that the Iris of Eternity resides, safeguarded by many of the Archivist and Attendant that dwell among the Archives.
