A beloved member of the historic
Cosmic Council, Sir Celeritas fought alongside individuals such as
Uldrid Highmore to protect Arkos from monsters of the Second Age, most notably the
Primordials. Said to be the fastest humanoid in history, Celeritas unbelievable speed and dexterity both with his feet and wit earned him the title by which he would be commonly called. There exist tales describing the Knight of the Wind's feats; how he could outrun even the quickest of spells or freeze time in a specific area due to his sheer speed.
Despite his incredible ability, Sir Celeritas would not survive the war with the Primordials. Facing off against the Black Primordial drake Onagore, it is said the Celeritas managed to slay the terror by running around Arkos itself several times, each time striking Onagore with more speed. The Primordial was slain in the end, but the strain of the battle proved to be too much for Celeritas. His body found in the aftermath, he was buried near the head of the drake he had slain as a solemn reminder of his bravery and unmatched ability.
Presently, in the 3rd Age, some say Celeritas' tomb and personal affects still exist in the mountain range in the
Oreion Inquisition that grew around Onagore's corpse; waiting for someone worthy to claim them along with the title of Knight of the Wind.
