The Beuw Area

The south west part of Ardarock is known as the Beuw Area, named after The Storm King Beuw.In the first age the Storm King Beuw ruled over the Seventh city, then after the second creation he made his court in the south west quarter of of Ardarock. This area he named after himself as "The Beuw Area" this area ranges from the great lake that begins south of the Volcanoes that sit in the middle of Ardarock to the east bank of that lake. Then the Area stretches into the north west parts of the Luin range, covers all of the valley that is to the west of the lake and sits south bellow the mountains of the Luin range. It ends at the devils Beach to the west and the end of the oak meadows in near the west edge of the volcanoes to the north. In this area the Storm King Beuw built a Kingdom of strength and beauty. He named the first dwarven Kings, the Frayn Strongbeard line who to this day rule over castle Frayn. He saw built his Beuw Castle which is now home to the Beuw council. Outside of Beuws Castle is the Beuw town a city of thousands that is home to many fishers, farmers and other trades folk. There is also three farmtowns within the valley of the Beuw area, Nearwoods Farmtown, Halfbeard Farmtown, and Nearfrayn Farmtown. Each of these farm towns is ruled over by a lord appointed by the Beuw council. The People of these farmtowns mostly work as farm hands or trades people who support the farm work. There is also a large population of Brewers of alcohol in these parts. Most of the farms in the different towns and also the larger BeuwTown are owned by the Halfbeard dwarf family. This Hill dwarf family is one of the most prominent in the Ardarock and their name is synonymous with the Beuw area. The current King of the Beuw area is King Frayn Strongbeard the Seventh. The Frayn line became Kings of the Beuw area on the day of the enteral slumber, it was King Beuws resting wish for the Frayn line to rule in his place. The Dwarven family has for seven generations now, with the help of a large council. The Beuw area itself is ruled by a Council of twelve Barons known as the Beuw council. These Barons discuss and act on the matters of BeuwTown, Beuw castle and also appointed the Lord's of the area. The Lord's of the area are each Lord that rules over a Farmtown and the several Lord's within the Beuw castle and BeuwTown. These Lord's and Barons are all Blue dwarves appointed by either King Frayn himself or the Barons if the Beuw council. The position of Lord or Baron is held by a single person and then is passed to their eldest child after death. The position of Lord can only be removed by a Baron or a King and provides class and status to the family that holds it. For all of the Beuw area all the Lords, Barons, and the King are all Blue Dwarves. The Beuw area itself is home to primarily dwarves of which the population is over fifty percent. The rest of the population is Elves and Humans both around fifteen to twenty percent each. Then Tieflings, Dragonfolk and other animal folk make up the other 10 percent of the population. Which is about two hundred thousand people counting everyone from all the Farmtowns, BeuwTown, Castle Beuw and Castle Frayn. The Beuw are is best know for it's production and distribution of alcohols of all kinds. They area is best known for the Halfbeards familiea work in the alcohol industry which is one of the biggest in the world. Halfbeard Ale, Wine and Whiskey are all disturbed around the world and are known for their consistent quality and flavor.
