The Brunedoore Range
This mountain range spans across the north part of Ardarock it goes from east to west across the continent stopping on both sides at the devils beaches. On the north face of the mountains is also the devils beaches and the east most part of the mountain range is the volcanic region known as Acrimons Waste. The Brunedoore range itself was named after an ancient gold dragon whose name was Brunedoore, this dragon ruled over the north west parts of Ardarock. Having the mountains, lake and forests named after them. There was many kingdoms inside of Brunedoores area and all in the area lived under the laws of the dragon. Brunedoore was last seen falling into the lake they were named after The Eternal Slumber took place and has not been seen since. Since the fall of Brunedoore the area the dragon once guarded is now wild and war filled, the kingdoms that once obeyed Brunedoores laws now fallen or misguided. In the third age the kingdoms that remain in the mountains serve the dragon Arcimon or hide from his influences, the largest of these kingdoms is Aggradome. Other kingdoms that serve Acrimon are the hobgoblin kingdoms Mordikeash and Langdoore, along with the orc kingdom Xingore. The only known kingdom in the Brunedoore Range to oppose Acrimon is a kingdom of lizardfolk that is in the most western parts of the range. This lizardfolk kingdom is known as Salderos and has been a small closed border kingdom since its creation in the early second age. The creatures of the Brunedoore Range range from small rodents and bats, mountain lion, large goats, brown bears and many birds. There is also more dangerous creatures such as ettins and orges, girallon and other monstrous carrion feeders that are unnamed. The Brunedoore Range is a large mountain range that spans across the northern parts of Ardarock it is home to many dangerous creatures and unforgiving kingdoms.
