Adran Ulatris (AH-drun OO-la-TRISS)
Adran of House Ulatris, is the Regnent of Ice Haven, Lord of the Frost Spires. Member of the Everdawnian House Ulatris, he is the fifth child of Regnent Theren Ulatris of Everdawn City. He has four siblings: Lyntross Ulatris II, Oletris Ulatris, Luciana Ulatris, and Aurian Ulatris. Adran is married to Naivara of the Silken Springs. Together, they have two children, Jaelynn "Lynn" Ulatris, and Lucian Ulatris.
The title of Crown of Ice Haven had been passed down to him as many of his older siblings either were not qualified for it, or chose to pass the title of "crown" to the next in line. He has ruled the city fairly, has a deep relationship with the Mythrose Council and distrusts many in other houses of elves. A skilled politician and dealmaker, he has made great trade deals with the Mountain Elves of the Platinum Crests known as the Iceglades, as well as multiple trade deals with the Dwarves of Ekkag'varum, and Krothu the Blackcoat of the independent, Goldtree City.
Upon his ascent to Crown of Ice Haven, Adran was known as the Slayer of the Crests. He ventured deep into the Platinum Crest Mountains and slayed the den of Ice Trolls plaguing the surrounding settlements as well as won a truce with the Frost Giant, Bugrog the Chief of Frostbloods. Who had been poaching the lands of the Platinum Crests for centuries, and had been terorrizing the elven hunters who served House Ulatris as well as the Iceglades.
Rumors grew that he had made a blood covenant with the Frostbloods however, and that a mountainous Bheur Hag had claimed the blood of his family. Those who are critical of House Ulatris ruling Ice Haven usually fall into believing this rumor. And that the city owes its economic and martial protection not to Ulatris, but to this shadowy hag figure in the mountains.
The city of Ice Haven loves and respects the Crowned Family. The trade and well being they have brought have qualified them more in the eyes of the people than most rulers of the past.
His enemies and allies are vast, throughout his long career of politics he has made long lists on both sides. He has spent much of the past few centuries covering up the wreckless misdoings of his son, Lucian.
