Purpose / Function

Astra Nova was built to be a truly monumental institution, with it's goal being to become the most well funded and unique school for training young individuals of all kinds about how to become masters of blade, magic, crafting, or a host of other skills. It's teachers are made out of talented individuals of all kinds, some of whom are recognized figures of various different communities. In a world where monsters, evil, oppression, tyranny, and Dreamers all exist and plague the realm, not just any warrior can be counted on to face the dangers ahead of them. By teaching young girls and boys how to strengthen their regalia and utilize their talents, Astra Nova is one of the figurehead forces that stand between the innocent and destruction.

History

Astra Nova was an ambitious idea by a small coalition of sages and seers, who held an intricate connection to the primordial being known as Manus, responsible for creating humans as well as regalia. They were said to have had a base of operations on this very peninsula Astra Nova now sits upon. Most of the information of Astra Nova's founbding are obscured or forgotten, but it's drive and mission have remained strong. The large blue flame that burns inside it's central tower serves as a symbolic sign of the will of man, the fire given unto humans by Manus, and as a beacon of Astra Nova's place in Sonenheim.
