Challenge:
The Order of the Laughing Hyena's challenge is called "Relentless Pursuit." When a cavalier issues this challenge, he becomes determined to hunt down his target with relentless vigor. He gains a +2 bonus on melee attack rolls against the target of his challenge. This bonus increases by +2 at 5th level and every 4 levels thereafter.
Skills:
Members of this order gain Perception and Survival as class skills. In addition, they gain the special ability to apply half their cavalier level as a bonus to Acrobatics checks made to avoid attacks of opportunity while moving through threatened squares. This bonus applies only when the cavalier is actively challenging an opponent and reflects the order's focus on agile combat tactics.
Order Abilities:
Level 2 - Pack Tactics:
The cavalier gains a +1 bonus on attack rolls when flanking an opponent. This bonus increases to +2 at 8th level. He also gain a teamwork feat. He gains a new Teamwork feat every four levels thereafter.
Level 8 - Opportunistic Strike:
Once per day, when the cavalier's target is denied its Dexterity bonus to AC (such as when it's caught flat-footed or flanked), the cavalier can make a single melee attack against that target as an immediate action. This attack deals additional damage equal to the cavalier's level. The cavalier can use this ability one additional time per day at 12th level and every four levels thereafter (to a maximum of four times per day at 20th level).
Level 15 - Tenacious Pursuit:
The cavalier's determination to pursue his target becomes legendary. When he issues his challenge, he can choose to share his teamwork feats with his allies and grant himself and his allies within 30 feet a +4 morale bonus to Strength and Constitution for the duration of the challenge. This bonus lasts until the challenge ends or the target is defeated.
