Jorik Wizzard

Jorik Wizzard, often referred to as simply Jorik, was one of the first great wizards and the founder of Nogginsby and The Arcane Academy.
Jorik was a wizard of great power and knowledge, but he was also known for his absent-mindedness and tendency to get lost in his own thoughts. One day, while working on a particularly complex spell, Jorik accidentally reversed the flow of magic in his laboratory.
The result was a catastrophic explosion that destroyed much of Jorik's laboratory and left him covered in soot and cobwebs. Miraculously, Jorik survived the explosion, but the incident left him with a peculiar side effect: he now had the ability to speak only in limericks.
Despite his best efforts to cure himself of the affliction, Jorik eventually succumbed to his limerick-speaking condition. Legend has it that his last words were:
"There once was a wizard named Jorik,
Whose spells could be tricky and metaphoric.
But now I must say,
I'm off to the fray,
For my magic's grown quite esoteric."
While it may have been a strange and unfortunate way to go, Jorik's legacy as a great wizard and his penchant for limericks are still remembered and celebrated in Nogginsby to this day.
