Toadsong
The swamp-side settlement of Toadsong is the most northeastern settlement within Ellora.
Demographics
Largely gnomish and dwarvish, with substantial human and halfling population.
Government
As with all other settlements in Ellora, Toadsong is governed by the Consortium of Guilds.
Defences
The town center is surrounded by modest stone walls. The majority of guilded citizens pay the Knight's Watch for security and protection.
Industry & Trade
Primary Products: Freshwater fish, wine and spirits, grains (oats, wheat), water chestnuts, cranberries.
Guilds and Factions
The Old Salts and The Artisans hold the most sway in Toadsong.
Points of interest
- Honeysuckle Vineyard – largest vineyard and distillery in Ellora.
- Mutinous Peacock - large tavern near the Guild Hall in Artisan's Square
- Guildhall – local meetingplace for guild representatives
- Food bank – storage and processing of private food supplies
- Angler's berth – Jumble of docks and bridges on the lake, primarily fisher's guilds.
- Ruins – a ruined castle in the swamp, believed to once belong to high elves. More recently, a black dragon called Bulok the Rotten resided there and extorted the town.
