Boomtown of the Broken-Down
Boomtown of the Broken-Down, or "Boomtown" for short, is the only uniquely Minnepodi settlement in all of Arxios.
Situated on the south side of the Kiln, Boomtown is a haven for tradesfolk, who cheerfully celebrate their craft and walk the streets in droves, holding crafting and engineering competitions and pushing their wares on unsuspecting passersby. As a result, it becomes a bit of a hassle to walk through the city, as the vendors will go to great lengths to either sell upgrades or closely scrutinize whatever equipment one might have.

Demographics
Boomtown is almost solely inhabited by Minnepodi crafters and engineers. Though it frequently hosts visitors and collaborators from the Kiln and its underground cities.
Government
Boomtown is governed by the Council of Hammerhands, whose members are a representative from each general trade field. These representatives advocate for their respective fields, and come together to plan developments and settle any conflicts.

Industry & Trade
Boomtown contracts out to numerous organizations year-round. Their designs can be seen in infrastructure all over Arxios, even in the great city of Delphi.
Infrastructure
Boomtown is home to the best crafters in all of Arxios. It is no surprise that it is one of if not the most technologically advanced settlements in all of Arxios. Aqueducts carry water from reservoirs in the mountains down to the city, massive windmills and watermills provide power to advanced machines. Aether crystals fuel robust blast furnaces and forges.
Climate
Warm southern winds flow up from the barren expanse and settle within the cradle of the Kiln, mixing with rains from above the volcanic mountains to create a near-tropical environment for the residents of Boomtown.
Natural Resources
Boomtown rests just inside the Kiln, up against the great Mount Thalia, which provides a great bounty of metals and minerals, courtesy of Clan Ashhand's miners.
